The result is often instability. When identity is unclear, influence becomes difficult to steward.

At KDP, we believe leadership begins internally. A leader must first know who they are before determining what they are called to build. Identity provides the foundation upon which responsibility, discipline, and authority are developed.

Influence is not the goal. Influence is the byproduct of a life that has been formed.

The strongest leaders are not those who have the most attention. They are those who have developed the character, convictions, and capacity necessary to sustain what they have been entrusted with.

Identity precedes influence because what is built externally will eventually reveal what has been formed internally.
